Über diesen Job
As the Global EQS Lead for Gas Service Solutions, you will lead the global EQS function to ensure Zero Harm, regulatory compliance, and world-class quality standards. Collaborating closely with global leadership, you will define and implement a unified strategy focused on Zero Harm, Sustainability, and Quality Excellence in business execution. Your role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, promoting a proactive safety and quality culture, driving operational excellence, product integrity, and customer satisfaction through robust EHS and Quality frameworks aligned with Siemens Energy’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in aligning global teams and shaping the EQS framework to enable safe, reliable, and sustainable project delivery.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and communicate the EQS strategy aligned with Siemens Energy’s vision, fostering a “Zero Harm and Quality First” mindset while leading cross-functional collaboration to achieve EHS and Quality goals
- Develop and deploy the global EQS strategy, integrating sustainability and ESG considerations to support Siemens Energy’s decarbonization and corporate responsibility objectives
- Champion the Zero Harm culture, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and lead the continuous improvement of the EHS Management System to meet corporate and legal requirements
- Oversee incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to reduce the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and drive operational excellence
- Drive digitalization within EQS through data-driven performance monitoring, predictive analytics, and sharing global best practices to enhance efficiency
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, engage and coach employees to strengthen safety and quality awareness, and develop training programs that meet global EQS competency requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven leadership experience in EHS, Quality, or related functions within industrial or construction environments
- Recognized safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor)
- Strong expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk management as well as Hands-on experience in large-scale, international, or cross-functional project environments
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Willingness to travel
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
