Your Role as a Full-Stack Software Engineer

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software systems. This role involves:

• Developing and implementing new features for both front-end and back-end applications.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new products.

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software to ensure optimal performance.

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to architectural discussions.

• Ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our software solutions.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks for both front-end and back-end development.

• Experience with database systems and API design.

• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating from our Freiburg im Breisgau office and remotely.

Compensation

The salary band for this position is EUR 50,000–65,000 per year.

Your First Months at heimsoft

In your first few months, you will integrate into our team, familiarizing yourself with our existing codebase and development practices. You will take ownership of specific features, contributing to both front-end and back-end development, and begin participating in our regular code reviews and team discussions.
