IT support employee (m/f/d) – Gelsenkirchen

For our internal infrastructure in our logistics center in Gelsenkirchen , we are looking for a service and solution-oriented specialist to support our hardware and network with all components – from internal workstations to mobile users (MDE devices) and some home office workstations. You can expect a varied and responsible role in a medium-sized company with a family-oriented working culture.

Your tasks:

• 1st level support for users in the area of hardware and software
• Ensuring ongoing IT operations and permanent system maintenance
• Installation and maintenance of Windows workstations
• Collaboration and takeover of IT projects according to level of training
• Documentation of the IT systems on site
• Monitoring the systems

Your profile:

• Training in the field of IT for system integration or a comparable qualification with initial practical work experience in IT support and/or system administration
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructures
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows and confident handling of MS Office programs
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong ability to work in a team, loyalty and understanding of service
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Knowledge of PROLAG World warehouse management software desirable
