TotalEnergies has developed a strong expertise in oil and biofuels, natural gas and electricity trading. Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston and Singapore.

TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).

T &S is a trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies Company. It has been an active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market in order to manage the market risk for a long time.

TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP) is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies. As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution.

Are you eager to grow professionally in a dynamic and international environment?
Do you have a background in Finance or Accounting and a solid grasp of IT tools?

If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re currently looking for a motivated intern to join our Accounting team within the Shipping division.

As an Accounting Intern in the Shipping division, you will report to a Senior Accountant and contribute to a variety of tasks, including:

• Processing and accounting for invoices and overheads
• Managing payments and issuing invoices
• Reviewing results of spot voyages
• Supporting monthly closings and reporting activities
• Assisting with indirect tax declarations
• Helping prepare statutory financial statements and audit documentation
• Participating in projects such as process automation and operational improvements

Profil der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, ideally in your final year
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Detail-oriented, organized, and rigorous
• Proficient in Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus
• A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory
