What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with current and prospective customers within your assigned territory or set of accounts.
  • Conducting sales activities through a combination of face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and digital communications to maximize account growth and retention.
  • Identifying customer pain points, understanding their business objectives, and presenting Synopsys solutions using data-driven proof points to differentiate from competitors.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed account plans that highlight opportunities for growth, value delivery, and increased share of wallet.
  • Researching and identifying new prospects, expanding business within existing accounts, and developing tailored proposals and quotations.
  • Coordinating closely with marketing, technical, legal, and account teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and customer engagements.
  • Delivering accurate sales forecasts, supporting renewal and new business targets, and participating in trade shows, conventions, and training seminars to build your network and skill set.

  • Drive revenue growth by securing new business and expanding existing customer relationships in a key geographic region.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their business outcomes with Synopsys’ industry-leading solutions.

  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy by providing valuable market insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention by proactively addressing needs and ensuring seamless post-sale support.
  • Strengthen Synopsys’ reputation as a partner of choice for technology leaders, driving long-term business success and market leadership.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or a related field, with 1+ years professional experience, or 3+ years of related experience.
  • Fluency in both English and German, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of engineering analysis and technology, with a willingness to learn more about Synopsys’ products and solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and priorities simultaneously, tracking progress and adapting as needed.
  • Strong presentation, persuasion, and proposal development skills, with a focus on customer value and differentiation.
