• Completed commercial or technical studies or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in key account management, ideally in the automotive sector
• Good knowledge of automotive structures, processes and decision-making hierarchies.

• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking skills
• Strong customer focus, willingness to travel (approx. 20% of working time) and self-organization
• Very good German and English skills

• Strategic support and development of key automotive clients
• Planning, management and expansion of long-term customer relationships (OEMs, Tier-1, Tier-2)
• Conducting price negotiations, annual reviews and contract negotiations
• Analysis of market and competitive developments and derivation of suitable measures
• Close collaboration with specialist departments such as development, supply chain, quality or recruiting (depending on the industry)
• Project management and ensuring compliance with KPI targets
• Identification of new business opportunities and cross-selling/upselling potential
• Representing the company at trade fairs, customer meetings and events
