You will take technical ownership of our global R&D Operations Platform and drive the further development of our Data, Analytics, and AI solutions. In this role, you will combine strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic execution, creating the foundation for innovative, data-driven decision-making across our R&D organization.

Your Responsibilities

Platform Ownership (approx. 60%)

• Take technical responsibility for our C#/.NET-based R&D Operations Platform
• Manage and ensure the quality of external development partners
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Define and implement the platform modernization strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Engineering, Business, and IT teams worldwide

Software Engineering & Innovation (approx. 40%)

• Develop modern applications and microservices
• Design scalable software architectures
• Establish and continuously improve CI/CD, testing, and deployment standards
• Introduce efficient AI-supported development processes
• Act as a technical sparring partner for the Data, Analytics, and AI team

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in developing productive software systems
• Strong knowledge of React, Python, and REST APIs
• Experience with C#/.NET and MSSQL
• Expertise in software architecture and modernization of existing applications
• Experience working with external service providers
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies is an advantage
• Excellent English and good German communication skills
• Self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Nice to Have

• Experience with Citrix or AWS AppStream
• Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, or R&D environments
• Experience with Data Platforms, Data Lakes, and AI-enabled software development
