Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.
In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.
Your tasks:

• Include commercial support for national and international customers, especially in the semiconductor market segment
• Creating quotes for customer-specific products and projects in coordination with Sales and Business Segment Independently handling orders and tracking deadlines in close coordination with internal departments and customers
• Managing and processing special customer orders, including VPAs, pricing agreements, and project orders
• Handling returns and creating credit and debit notes
• Creating and sending invoices to customers
• Maintaining and managing order-related documentation as well as digital customer files
• Maintaining master data in the SAP environment
• Processing delivery lists and export reports in customer portals, including deadline monitoring
• Coordinating and organizing customer-specific delivery approvals and liaising with the shipping departments
• Support for cross-departmental projects and process improvement measures
• Creating and analyzing various reports and metrics for internal and external requirements

Your Profile

• Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable degree
• Several years of professional experience in customer service, order management, or a similar role in a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of SAP SD as well as handling customer portals
• Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• High awareness of quality and strong customer orientation
• Very good communication and teamwork skills
• Quick to grasp new concepts, willing to learn, and resilient
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, as well as a good understanding of business processes
• Enjoy working with international customers and interdisciplinary teams
