Tasks
You advise national and international customers on the development and evaluation of secure products and systems. You will carry out sophisticated safety analyses and technical tests, develop specific recommendations for action and support projects until they are ready for certification.
Depending on your professional focus, you will work in the areas of secure software, secure hardware, network & mobile security or cryptography.

- Independent implementation of cyber security projects
- Analysis of security architectures and technical concepts
- Carrying out vulnerability analyses, security tests, code reviews or penetration tests
- Advice on safe development processes and appropriate protective measures
- Support with certifications and regulatory requirements
- Preparation of test plans, risk assessments and technical reports
- Presentation of results and recommendations to customers
- Cooperation with development teams, security specialists and certification bodies
Profil
- Completed studies in computer science, information security, software engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, mathematics, physics or a comparable field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in cyber security, security consulting, security testing or security evaluation
- Profound knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Software or embedded security
- Hardware Security
- Network or mobile security
- Cryptography and key management
- Experience with technical safety analyses, testing or evaluation of safety-critical systems
- Good programming skills, for example in Python, Java, C/C++ or Assembly
- Structured, analytical and independent way of working
- Distinctive consulting and communication skills
- Very good German and English language skills
Beneficial
- Experience with Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, IEC 62443, SESIP, BSZ, or EMVCo
- Knowledge of threat modelling, secure development lifecycle, source code analysis or fuzzing
- Experience with security tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit or Frida
- Knowledge in areas such as secure boot, embedded systems, hardware pentesting, network protocols or post-quantum cryptography
- Experience in working with certification bodies or international customers

For legal reasons, we refer to the minimum annual salary of 55,356€ for full-time employment (38.5 hours) under the collective agreement. The final salary is of course based on your individual experience.
