Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on research funding and proposal preparation within competitive EU and international funding programmes
- Identify funding opportunities and strategically relevant research trends
- Coordinate and support the development of competitive project proposals in collaboration with researchers and funding organizations.
- Support the composition and coordination of international consortia
- Present funding instruments at internal and external events and meetings
- Develop and implement communication activities for disseminating research results
Admission Requirements
- Completed Master’s degree in a discipline closely related to the Research Areas of BioTechMed-Graz
- Experience in preparing and submitting research proposals at the EU or international level
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
Desired Qualification
- A PhD degree is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and proactive working style
- International experience is an asset
- Professional experience in research management, EU project coordination or science communication is desirable
- High level of communication skills and ability to work in a team

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 48,304.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.

Organisational Unit
The Research & Technology House provides services related to research for researchers at TU Graz. It supports projects from the initial idea through project planning, proposal and tender preparation (pre-award), assists with project initiation and implementation (post-award), and continues through to project completion and the exploitation of research results and technologies.
As a research alliance of the University of Graz, the Graz University of Technology, and the Medical University of Graz, BioTechMed-Graz strengthens cutting-edge research, cooperation and networking. Its main goals include promotion of young scientists, funding of excellent research projects and acquisition of shared infrastructure.
