IT Manager (f/m/d)
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and execute IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are on time and within budget
- Work together with IT, Data Science, Bioinformatics and Laboratory teams to fulfil the IT needs of in-house projects, ranging from storage to data processing infrastructure
- Contribute to strategic IT planning, budget management, managing vendor relations, and IT policy development together with the Data Unit Lead
- Assist in IT Administration and IT Support tasks as second and third level support
- Bridge the gap between data scientists, bioinformaticians and IT staff to develop and deploy practical solutions for clinical applications and biomedical research projects
- Design solutions together with IT and the DevOps team to automate company processes
- Ensure that CBmed is and stays NIS-2 compliant
- Lead our effort to become ISO 15189 certified (from IT perspective) and get the CBmed ready to become a medical diagnostic laboratory
- Drive our long-term goal of becoming ISO 27001 compliant
- Design and set up the necessary framework towards medical device certification for selected in-house products, including software and infrastructure testing
- Make sure that employees and processes are following the highest cyber security standards
- Take ownership of existing IT SOPs, keeping them up-to-date, practical, and complete
- Identify gaps in the IT SOP landscape and write missing SOPs together with IT professionals
- Oversee and contribute to documentation for IT-internal work instructions
Expected skills and abilities:
- You have an MSc in an IT-related field and at least 5 years of working experience in the IT area
- You have at least 3 years of IT-leadership experience
- You are experienced with Microsoft 365 Administration
- You are knowledgeable about server and network infrastructure
- You have a proven track record of improving cyber security in previous companies
- You have experience working in an ISO certified environment and, ideally, contributed to the ISO certification process of a company in the past

- We offer an unlimited contract with a minimum annual salary from EUR€ 70 000,- gross based on 40 hours/week. Overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and work experience.
