Responsibilities
- Teaching: support on bachelor level and handling of exercises, supervision of bachelor and master projects.
- Research: Distributed Algorithms, streaming algorithms, sublinear time algorithms, massively parallel computing, writing scientific publications
- Supervision of research projects
Completed Phd in the field of Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent fields of study.
Desired Qualification
- Scientific work within the theory of computation.
- evidenced by excellent publications in the relevant journals and conferences, e.g., STOC, FOCS, SODA, PODC, DISC, ICALP
- Teaching experience within theoretical computer science/discrete mathematics/data structures and algorithms
- Experience in supervising students.
- Experience in obtaining research funding (optional)

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
