Starting immediately, full-time, fixed-term for 3 years

Your tasks
- Design and implementation of automated medical image processing pipelines, particularly for modalities such as MRI and CT
- Development of innovative AI-driven methods for analyzing longitudinal medical imaging data from structured cohort studies (e.g., the NAKO study)
- Programming of image analysis algorithms, combining classical image processing techniques with state-of-the-art deep learning methods
- Contribution to an interdisciplinary research environment at the interface of medicine and computer science
Our requirements
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in (medical) computer science, biomathematics, or a related discipline
- Solid theoretical background in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and image processing/computer vision; hands-on experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of mathematics, computer science, and programming principles
- Experience with algorithmic programming, preferably in Python or a similar language
- Proficiency in English
