The Associate Application Engineer will learn and master the Applications product lifecycle and be able conduct and support the execution of a project in context of Cell Biology, and contribute to the functional requirements analysis and technical solution design.
What you’ll do
Learn the Cytiva CGT Applications code base and improve coding skills
Write and maintain code for applications in high level language (XML) translating a manufacturing biological process into machine instructions
Conduct developer tests, participate to integration tests and contribute to technical reports
Work closely with other engineers (i.e. electrical, mechanical, software, material) and biologists
Support key customers and users of the Applications by contributing in the analysis of machine data and in writing investigation reports
Has the ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly and work in a cross-functional engineering team.
Actively participate in the Applications development team group life, i.e. attending to meetings and workshops, proposing improvements, etc.
Who you are
University degree (Master) in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
0-4 years’ work experience in R&D department related to Life Science industry
Knowledge or previous experience in developing in any programming language is a must
You have interest and willingness to use your software and engineering skills in the Biotech industry
You are interested in contributing in development lifecycle of Applications running on laboratory devices, or IVD, or medical devices or manufacturing equipment running in a GMP environment.
You have strong analytical thinking; you pay attention to details and you have a structured approach in your daily work
Interested in gaining knowledge and practical experience of relevant regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, cGMP), specifically for the US and European market
Customer-oriented mindset, autonomous at work, creative and initiatives welcomed
