The Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible for improving the existing product portfolio in strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders by driving the design of new solutions .
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering and is part of the Cell Therapy R&D department located in Signy, Switzerland and will be an on-site role .
What you will do :
Develop and maintain high-quality software design and architecture
Participate in development and improvement of existing products following our QMS
Provide support in all stages of the SDLC (requirements analysis, design, implementation, reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, V&V)
Close R&D collaboration with the project manager, engineering, and biology teams
Lead technical investigations on complex problems
Ensure compliance with ISO13485 or ISO9001 standards and other QMS requirements
Who you are:
University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
15+ years of work experience (5+ years in a senior role) with the strong knowledge of C# and C/C++
Strong architectural and technical leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions across multiple products and teams
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. medical devices, life sciences, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, or other compliance-driven industries)
Fluent in English; French is a plus
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Applicable standards and quality systems such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GxP-compliant software development practices.
