At RONAl GROUP, we are shaping the future of mobility with data-driven innovation. We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team in Härkingen.
Data Platform Engineer
100% (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust data and integration solutions
- Automate data integration and build pipelines from diverse sources (databases, REST APIs, etc.)
- Transform data through cleansing, standardisation, and aggregation aligned with governance guidelines
- Define and implement best practices to continuously improve our data landscape
- Develop and maintain our data integration strategy (API-first, streaming)
- Ensure high availability and performance of our data warehouse, data lake, and integration interfaces
- Monitor data pipelines to ensure quality, reliability, and timely data provisioning
- Support application and system integration across business areas
- Create concepts for system integration, interfaces, and middleware
YOUR PROFILE
- Higher education in IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years’ experience in data integration and engineering
- Strong expertise using Talend or similar creating replication, ingestion and transformation tasks
- Excellent skills in Azure Synapse
- Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, data lake/data warehouse concepts and how to work with these
- Experience with AVRO, PARQUET, XML/JSON, REST APIs, and CDC
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (business fluent)
- Additional programming skills (Java, Python, R) and Qlik Sense are a plus
- Willingness to travel (max. 5–10%)
