About the Role

As a leading global adhesive technology company, tesa ’s Corporate Communications department drives strategic initiatives across all communication channels. Our dynamic team of seasoned professionals manages tesa ’s comprehensive global communications portfolio, encompassing strategic communications, internal communications, corporate branding, media relations, digital presence, and sustainability communications.

We are looking for a Digital Communications Manager who combines editorial expertise & a hands-on mentality with strategic digital communications know-how. In this role, you will be a full member of our editorial team, taking ownership of specific topic areas while also driving our digital channel strategy and AI enablement. You will shape compelling narratives, develop content across formats, and lead transformational projects such as our employee advocacy program.

Your Responsibilities

Editorial Contribution & Topic Ownership

• Serve as a core member of the editorial team, contributing to content planning, production and editorial decisions
• Take ownership of dedicated topic areas and drive coherent storytelling across all channels
• Research, develop, and produce high-quality content. From thought leadership articles to social media series
• Ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice across digital and traditional channels

Digital Strategy & AI Transformation

• Develop and execute tesa 's global strategy for corporate social media channels and website
• Identify emerging trends and translate them into actionable strategies
• Drive AI transformation in communications through strategic foresight and practical application
• Design and implement a comprehensive employee advocacy program – from concept to organization-wide rollout

Stakeholder Engagement & Community Building

• Guide and mentor regional social media and marketing managers across 40+ countries
• Build strategic partnerships with marketing and business units to align content with corporate objectives
• Optimize our enterprise social media management platform (Sprinklr) and related tools
• Establish performance monitoring frameworks and drive data-informed decision-making

Your Profile

Experience & Background

• Successfully completed studies in marketing, communications, or media sciences
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in digital communications, editorial work, or corporate communications, ideally B2B environment
• Proven track record in developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies
• Experience in rolling out cross-organizational programs or change initiatives is a plus

Skills & Mindset

• Outstanding editorial skills: ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives
• Business-fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Expert knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
• Strong project management skills
• Hands-on mentality paired with strategic thinking
• Advanced proficiency in enterprise-level tools for social media management, monitoring, and analytics
