Aufgabengebiet

We are looking for a Senior Quant/Developer (m/f/d) with in-depth expertise in the FIX protocol (versions 4.4 and 5.0) to support the integration and development of a OTC crypto trading platform. The candidate will work closely with a lead FIX expert to ensure that FIX-based connectivity and processes are well-defined, implemented, tested, and supported. The role requires both strong technical skills in Python and deep knowledge of FIX business flows, including testing and API structuring.Tasks

• Support in defining and implementing FIX protocol specifications (FIX 4.4/5.0).
• Translate business requirements into FIX message workflows and structures.
• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based tools and components for FIX connectivity.
• Assist developers with technical integration of FIX APIs and endpoints.
• Design and execute comprehensive FIX test cases, including connectivity with external brokers and venues.
• Document FIX workflows, integration points, and technical details for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure robust error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting for FIX connectivity.

Anforderungsprofil

• Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience working with the FIX protocol (FIX 4.4 and 5.0).
• Strong understanding of FIX message flows, business processes, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, including API development and testing.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and structuring FIX-based APIs.
• Knowledge of trading systems (OTC, FX, equities, or crypto) and connectivity requirements.

Ability to work independently and collaborate in existing teams, with a structured and solution-oriented approach
