(Junior) Data Engineer & Analyst (m/f/d)

in Hamburg

GETREIDEAGis aninternationally operating food producerwith locations in Hamburg, Rostock, Erfurt, Wurzen, and Kyiv. Our focus is on the production of rapeseed oil, malt, and food products for the processing industry and end consumers. We also specialize in the international trade of grain and its loading onto large vessels.

Your job

In this key position, you will play a major role in developing and expanding our data structure, analyzing the data, and paving the way for the digital future of our company.

• Data Warehouse Management:You design and implement ETL processes with SSIS and optimize data provisioning in SQL Server.
• Analysis:They assist in the preparation and analysis of data in BI tools.
• Teamwork & interface:You work hand in hand with colleagues from controlling and the IT department.
• Foundation for tomorrow:They create the necessary data basis so that we can realize innovative AI topics and machine learning projects in the medium term.
• High level of personal responsibility:Within our projects you enjoy a great deal of creative freedom and proactively contribute your own solutions.

Your skills

• Education:Studies (business/computer science, business administration) or vocational training – your sound, (also self-taught) specialist knowledge is important to us.
• Profile:You bring essential practical experience in the field of data warehousing as well as in the safe handling of ETL software (preferably SSIS).
• Data expertise:You are proficient in using SQL Server and understand how to place the data in a business context.
• Personality:They are characterized by a communicative nature, a high degree of independence, and structured self-organization.
• Nice-to-have:Knowledge of Power BI and data modeling, as well as initial experience with scripting languages, ideally round off your profile.
• German language skills at native speaker level (C2) are required.
