We are now looking for an ambitious Key Account Manager New Business who will be supporting our growth in Germany.
IN A NUTSHELL, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
- Establishment and development of a new sales focus with direct cooperation with GM DACH.
- Manage existing customers in the convenience and petrol station segment in DACH, including annual and listing discussions.
In more detail, this means:
- Acquisition and development of new customer relationships, also in the C&C area, to further drive growth.
- Responsibility for the profit and loss account of the clients served, including budget planning and control.
- Forecast planning and monitoring for the customers we serve.
- Close cooperation with the marketing team in the development and implementation of sales strategies.
- Market and competitor analyses, in collaboration with category management and trade marketing, to identify opportunities and offer suitable solutions.
- Participation in the development of sales and marketing campaigns
The job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake other duties in line with their ability and the changing needs of the business.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Completed studies in the field of business, marketing or a comparable qualification.
- At least three years of experience in key account management in the FMCG sector, experience in the convenience or out-of-home sector is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills at all hierarchical levels.
- Very good analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers as well as initial experience in working with market data (e.g. Nielsen).
- Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working and keeping an eye on "the big picture".
- Proactive way of working with a strong "hands-on" attitude, which is particularly important in the Convenience & C&C channel.
- Good knowledge of German and English.
