Laboratory Technician (f/m/x)
Your responsibilities
What if your precision and dedication in the lab could contribute to scientific progress and reliable results every single day? As a Laboratory Technician (f/m/x), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory, supporting both routine activities and small-scale studies with accuracy and efficiency. Your main responsibilities include:
- Executing and documenting laboratory work according to defined priorities and timelines
- Performing routine tasks as well as designing and carrying out small-scale studies using established protocols
- Organizing and maintaining laboratory operations, equipment, and documentation systems
- Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the proper functioning of laboratory instruments
- Managing ordering processes, consumables, and material inventory
- Writing, reviewing, and validating laboratory protocols to ensure compliance and consistency
Your profile
You are a great match for this role if you are passionate about laboratory work, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative scientific environment. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:
- Completed education in a medical or scientific field (e.g., BTA, MTA, CTA) or equivalent education
- Solid knowledge of molecular biology techniques
- General understanding of laboratory procedures and their applications
- Strong laboratory practice and documentation skills with a focus on accuracy and reliability
- Excellent time management and self-organization skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in both German and English
