Job description
- You are responsible for ensuring the annual, weekly and daily planning (incl. holiday planning) as well as planning) as well as coordinating the personnel planning of the train drivers in daily contact - to ensure the network and safety on the rails
- You are also responsible for the optimised personnel and shift planning of the available train drivers, taking availability into account
- You are also responsible for the operational control of the capacity utilisation of our own train drivers
- You take care of hotel management, incl. including helping to select hotels for each location, setting annual quotas, concluding framework agreements and making hotel bookings, auditing and processing invoices
- You will also be responsible for ensuring that the drivers' timesheets are correct and punctual:
- In addition, you will be available as a competent contact person for all matters relating to our own train drivers
- The creation of reports and analyses as well as the development and monitoring of key figures are also part of your tasks
- Last but not least, you will also take on special tasks for production management
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with a focus on transport/logistics, ideally in the field of railway services
- In addition, you have already gained experience in personnel and shift planning, preferably in the transport sector
- You are confident in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), very good knowledge of Excel and/or Access
- You are characterised by teamwork and strong communication skills as well as a high degree of independence and initiative
- Your profile is rounded off by flexibility and reliability
