Job Description
Are you passionate about data? Do you understand how to design complex data architectures, implement modern data pipelines, and operate them in scalable environments? Perfect! For over 20 years, we have been building innovative analytics, planning, and AI applications for customers across all industries. Optimal data provision is the foundation of these solutions—and that's exactly why we need you.
Your tasks
As a (Senior) Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building modern smart data and analytics platforms. Depending on your experience level and specialization, you can expect the following areas of focus:
Management and design of robust, scalable data warehouse and data lake architectures (e.g. in Azure/AWS/SAP)
Development, optimization, and scaling of high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines on cluster architectures (with a focus on Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, or comparable technologies)
Making architectural decisions and selecting suitable technologies for new data analytics use cases
Ensuring data quality, governance and security across the entire data path
Technical mentoring of the team and knowledge transfer on new technologies
Assuming technical project responsibility and managing sub-projects
Technical sparring partner for the customer in workshops and pre-sales activities
What you should bring with you
If you are interested in solving data challenges in a team using the latest cloud technologies, you ideally have the following:
Solid IT know-how (degree or comparable, several years of professional experience)
Comprehensive understanding of data modeling (e.g., Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault), relational databases, and modern data lake concepts
Experience in Python (or Scala) for data processing and with SQL for complex queries
Practical experience in cloud data platform development (e.g. Azure Data Factory/Fabric/Databricks, Datasphere)
Analytical strength, structured working methods and a strong hands-on mentality
Experience in agile IT projects and in communicating complex technical issues
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
This is what we offer you
With us, you'll find exciting end-to-end projects with top clients and a dynamic environment where you can leave a real technical mark. You'll be a valuable team member from day one, and your architectural expertise is in demand.
Leading role and creative freedom: High level of personal responsibility and freedom to introduce new technologies and help shape the data strategy.
Attractive remuneration and modern hardware equipment
Maximum flexibility in working models: Flexible working hours and true work-life blending thanks to home office options.
Freedom of choice of location: Work in our modern offices in the heart of St. Pauli or in Munich's Old Town – or from wherever you are most productive.

Top corporate culture: Unforgettable team events, sabbatical options for time off.
- Health & Comfort: Gym membership subsidies, bike leasing, healthy snacks, fresh fruit, and a relaxed after-work culture.
