• In collaboration with Central IT and CoE Digital Plants, make final decisions on technology and platform choices for digitalization in our manufacturing plants, in close collaboration with our plant Digital Teams.
• Provide deep technical and architectural leadership across software and hardware domains.
• Monitor and benchmark digital maturity, driving continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
• Ensure tesa ’s manufacturing environment remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Industry 4.0 and 5.0, translating advancements into actionable strategies.
• Support the Digital Center of Excellence about the different digitalization roadmaps under roll-out.
• Design and maintain a comprehensive IT/OT blueprint integrating software systems (MES, MOM, QMS, WMS, ERP) and hardware (PLC, SCADA, fieldbus, sensors, robotics).
• Lead the selection, assembly, and integration of use cases to build the digital twin of tesa ’s global operations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure global standards while enabling local flexibility

• Minimum 15 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, and smart manufacturing.
• Expertise in both software systems (MES, MOM, QMS, WMS, ERP) and hardware/OT (PLC, SCADA, fieldbus, sensors, robotics).
• Proven track record in defining and executing digital roadmaps and deploying digital twins.
• Strong project management skills with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Deep understanding of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 concepts.
• International experience and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for technology and innovation with a drive to set new standards in smart manufacturing.
