You can look forward to
- Managing Caribbean property and casualty business portfolios
- Analysing reinsurance offers, assessing the associated risks, calculating appropriate premiums and conducting final underwriting of property and casualty risks
- Handling related administrative tasks, including correspondence with brokers and clients in both Spanish and English
- Analysing and evaluating primary insurance markets and market players
- Cultivating existing client relationships and establishing new customer contacts, including through occasional business travel and participation in internal and external specialist events and conferences
- Conducting targeted product development activities and on-site marketing initiatives for clients and brokers
You come equipped with
- Degree in Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a comparable program with a quantitative focus
- IT-minded and well-versed in using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Initial programming skills as well as professional experience in the context of data analytics is an advantage
- At least proficient user skills in both Spanish and English, combined with the willingness to learn German at a basic level
- Willingness to go on occasional business trips to the Caribbean in the context of customer visits and market events; the frequency of travel can be organised flexibly in coordination with the team
- Strong team orientation as well as excellent communication and analytical skills enabling effective collaboration with international clients and brokers, sound judgement in underwriting decisions and the flexibility to adapt to diverse market situations and business contexts
