Job Summary:
The Global Head STEP Technology Deployment plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and rollout of the STEP programme across Sandoz globally. This strategic position oversees the deployment lifecycle, driving seamless integration, operational readiness, and achievement of key milestones in line with organisational objectives. With responsibility for coordinating activities across multiple sites, monitoring progress, and managing risks, the role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance. Success demands exceptional leadership, organisational expertise, and a proactive, innovative mindset to manage complex priorities while fostering continuous improvement and teamwork.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Strategically organise and oversee STEP deployment operations to guarantee smooth integration and full operational readiness throughout all regions and departments.
- Oversee progress in alignment with project plans, proactively managing risks and issues to ensure the achievement of project milestones within STEP timelines.
- Engage collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to uphold exemplary standards of quality and compliance throughout all phases of the deployment process.
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of platform solutions and services.
- Exhibit exemplary leadership and organisational abilities, promoting a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Utilise a methodical approach to problem-solving and ongoing improvement, while managing multiple priorities effectively.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in project delivery, preferably in SAP S4 transformation programs and/or application management or IT services within a multinational organization. Key skills include strategic planning, financial acumen, and team leadership.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills..
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data and system requirements.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on developing talent and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and other service management methodologies.
- Expert knowledge and experience in key platforms products (e.g. Veeva).
- Certification in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus.
