Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement global BD strategy for biosimilars aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in biosimilars.
- Deal Origination & Execution:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate licensing, co-development, and acquisition opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end deal process including due diligence, valuation, and contract negotiations.
- Partnership Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key external partners
- Represent the company in high-level discussions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of BD projects.
- Provide strategic input on portfolio planning and lifecycle management.
- Market & Financial Analysis:
- Review and understand financial modelling and business case development for potential deals.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience Pharmaceutical industry , with at least 5 years in BD/Alliance management in biosimilars or biologics.
- Proven track record of executing complex BD transactions (licensing, M&A, partnerships).
- Strong understanding of global biosimilars market, regulatory pathways, and commercialization strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
