As Solution Account Manager you are responsible for successfully driving profitable growth within the Transportation Vertical across Germany through identification and winning of projects by providing compelling solutions that add value to the our customer.
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue with existing customers through robust account plans and cross-selling.
- Expanding Belden’s presence in the transportation sector by engaging directly with potential new customers and channel partners.
- Creating a comprehensive market landscape for the transportation vertical in Germany highlighting areas of potential success for Belden.
- Developing and executing winning sales strategies, managing sales funnels, and achieving revenue targets.
- Collaborating with Customer Innovation Centers to deliver compelling, solution-based proposals that generate demand and win projects.
What you will bring:
- Educational background: Degree in Business, Economics, or STEM, or equivalent professional experience with a strong commercial focus.
- Professional experience: Proven track record of 5+ years in a professional sales role within the transportation sector, with specific expertise in the railway and light transportation market.
- International exposure: Experience in a medium-to-large international organization, working in a matrix environment and with cross-functional teams.
- Agile mindset: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and metric-driven environment.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
