Job Description

• Leadership and management of globally distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple executive business areas

• Ensuring the availability and quality of services as well as adherence to budgets within the framework of agreed goals and KPIs on a global level

• Defining strategic planning in alignment with user requirements and ensuring the medium-term implementation of the functional strategy

• Identifying technology and industry trends and customer needs, as well as promoting the development of corresponding competencies and skills within the assigned teams, in line with the IT innovation landscape, e.g., in the area of process automation

• Proactively building and expanding expertise and analytical capabilities regarding IT solutions and the associated business processes for the respective business requirements within the LEONI Group

• Taking the lead in continuous improvement for more efficient and effective customer value within the global process landscape

• Planning and ensuring all activities related to system and application development, including customization and testing, as well as guaranteeing smooth application operations using contemporary technologies in accordance with requirements and specifications

• Ensuring efficient services within the scope of 2nd and 3rd level support for existing applications, as well as all testing and training activities

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Business Process Management, or a comparable qualification

• Experienced leader with strong management skills in globally distributed network teams, and familiarity with matrix organizations

• Several years of relevant professional experience in IT consulting and/or IT system development within a corporate group or a specialized management consultancy

• Deep expertise and broad business understanding, along with extensive experience in optimizing functional business processes, ideally gained in the automotive supply sector

• Advanced knowledge in the application of IT technologies and solutions, combined with a strong professional curiosity about the latest technological developments

• Profound analytical skills, strong drive for innovation, customer orientation, and a high level of communication skills

• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

• Excellent German and English skills; knowledge of additional languages spoken within the LEONI Group is an advantage
