Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer at SAPP Management, you will support industrial projects in the pulp and paper sector by planning and consulting on power distribution and electric infrastructure systems. Your work will involve feasibility studies, concept development, technical evaluations and project execution support to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical infrastructure.
We expect from you:
- Engineering and consulting activities for power distribution network at different industrial plants with following core tasks:
- Performing feasibility and pre-engineering studies for the main electric system
- Evaluation of the status quo of power distribution equipment
- Developing power distribution concepts for major rebuilds/modification, mainly in the pulp and paper industry
- Performing energy assessment studies (focus on electric system, e.g. supply, distribution and power consumption)
- Power distribution network studies
- Short-Circuit Calculations, Load Flow Calculations, Selectivity Analysis
- Coordination and responsibility for Instrumentation and Automation disciplines
- Coordination of internal and external instrumentation and automation experts
- Cooperation and active exchange within project team disciplines (process, balance of plant, civil)
- Active participation and responsibility in ongoing execution of investment projects as "owner’s engineer” in the area of electric, instrumentation and automation
- Co-operation, reporting, project meetings in person or via video conference
- Supervision of project timeline, detail engineering documentation, equipment installation, commissioning and cost control activities
- Tracking of project deliverables, providing direction and support to local project team
Your qualifications:
In order to meet future challenges, we are looking for a highly motivated and well-qualified employee.
- Completed studies (TU, FH) in electrical engineering
- Relevant professional work experience from minimum 5 years, preferable in pulp and paper industry
- Flexible, sense of responsibility and self-initiative
- Team-oriented way of working
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Knowledge with power distribution network simulation tools (e.g. NEPLAN) from advantage
- Driving license category B
- Willingness to travel domestic and abroad (20 – 30 % of time)
- Willingness for further training and professional development

A gross annual salary on a full-time basis, with the minimum desired qualification, is € 54 600,00.
