General summary :
The IT Department is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The IT department manages all computers, servers, network components and telephone services
Key Responsibilities :
User management (setting up/ maintaining accounts ) for various systems and applications.
Maintenance of server, storage , network and telephone services.
Regular monitoring of system performance and network communication.
Implementing and maintaining a policy for data backup and recovery .
Updating IT systems in accordance with guidelines.
Setting up new workstations (hardware, software, network and telephone ).
Relocating existing workstations ( dismantling and reassembly ).
1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for employees with hardware and software problems .
Other job- related tasks or support with IT projects as required .
Qualifications & Experience :
Hands on experience of installing IT hardware, software, user help desk and IT infrastructure
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 and the current Windows and Mac OS operating system environment as well as the administration of Active Directory
Resilience & flexibility (e.g., in the event of disruptions outside working hours )
Good organisational skills and time management
Strong communication skills ( including with non- technical colleagues )
Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
Team spirit & personal responsibility
Fluent German and good English language skills
