As an IT and web administrator (m/f/d), you are our technical all-rounder with a clear goal: stable, secure and smoothly functioning systems – so that our global community continues to find a reliable, modern and interactive home for all sim racing and racing game topics. With your extensive expertise, you will ensure that our various systems work together seamlessly, comply with legal requirements and are continuously developed in a smart way.

For the planning, structuring and budgeting of the IT system landscape, you are interested in current trends and developments in order to drive updates, improvements and problem solutions in a sustainable manner. Ideally, you are a sim racer or gamer and have an understanding of the gaming business and, in particular, the gaming community.

As our office and studio are located in Cologne and we like to meet and exchange ideas in person, you should ideally come from the greater Cologne area or be willing to move here to come to the office several days a week. However, we also actively practise hybrid working. Residence in Germany is required.

Aufgaben

Your Taks & Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure & Hardware Management: Administration of internal hardware assets, lifecycle management, and procurement of IT and network components.
• M365 Ecosystem Ownership: Full administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and identity management via Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Server & Database Administration: Oversee test, production, and race servers; maintain SQL databases, perform advanced backup and restore operations; develop monitoring scripts using Python and shell automation.
• Security & Network Governance: Manage and harden firewall systems, conduct security screenings, maintain audit trails, implement password and account policies aligned with corporate standards.
• Platform Ownership (XenForo): Maintain and develop the OverTake forum ecosystem — including user roles, permissions, add-on integrations, and API interconnections with third-party systems.
• Subscription & Payment Systems: Oversee Adyen and Chargebee configurations, recurring billing logic, webhook reliability, and transactional data integrity.
• Compliance & GDPR: Serve as data protection liaison, ensuring continuous alignment with EU GDPR, Porsche Group requirements, and internal data handling policies.
• Privacy & Data Security: Design and enforce privacy frameworks, breach-prevention measures, and data lifecycle governance.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Manage external service providers, agencies, and freelancers across IT, ad tech, and compliance functions.
• Advertising Integrations: Implement, monitor, and optimize ad placements, including ad partner networks and video reward systems.
• Cookie Consent & Legal Interfaces: Oversee CMP configurations and ensure technical/legal compliance for data collection and consent flows.
• Software Development & Automation: Support full-stack development and infrastructure-as-code implementations where required.
• IT Planning & Corporate Alignment: Partner with Porsche and internal stakeholders on modernization, cloud migration, and long-term infrastructure strategy, attend meetings and create reportings.

Qualifikation

Your Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and privacy compliance within complex or regulated environments.
• Strong technical background in SQL, Python, and Linux-based server administration.
• Deep understanding of GDPR, data privacy, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
• Proficiency with XenForo, Chargebee, Adyen, Cloudflare, and Office 365 ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with firewall management, SFTP, DNS, SSL certificates, and network configuration.
• Ability to translate compliance and security requirements into actionable operational measures.
• Understanding of website optimisation, search engine marketing and search algorithms
• Stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating between corporate, legal, and technical environments.
• Good communication and conflict management skills in Englisch and GermanSim racing, racing games or general gaming interest and experience are a plus. Whether as an active sim racer & gamer or through previous work in the gaming industry.
