We are currently recruiting for an experienced a Quarry Manager to lead the team at our Lang Lang Quarry in Victoria, approximately a 1-hour drive South-East of Melbourne.
Reporting to the Aggregates Supply Chain Manager, this role is a multi-faceted role leading the quarry and overseeing the daily management of the operation, including production, continuous improvement, health & safety, logistics and full P&L responsibility.

In your new role, you will be:

• Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.

• Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, budgeting and managing costs within budget.

• Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules.

• Focused on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry and community as a responsible and sustainable partner.

• Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others.
  

This role is a great fit for you, if:

• You are an experienced quarry manager/supervisor with relevant industry qualifications.

• Have leadership experience.

• An ability to support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning.

• A strong leadership mentality with a demonstrated track record in delivering transformational change within a complex business environment.

• The capability to deliver exceptional negotiation and influencing skills when interacting with varying levels of internal and external stakeholders.

• You have a safety mindset with a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm.
