Certified Public Accountant (d/f/m)

for our client, a Swiss FinTech startup providing a digital platform to modern financial services – fully digital, paperless and available 24/7. Its promise: mind your business. We handle the rest.

We are looking for a CPA who will design, develop and oversee digital services that go far beyond traditional banking—imagine a seamless bookkeeping integration embedded in a fintech platform that empowers
SMEs. From the spark of an idea through to a successful launch, you will own the entire project lifecycle, coordinating internal teams and external partners to guarantee smooth, uninterrupted delivery. You will
work hand‑in‑hand with specialist developers focused on financial‑service technology, and you will also supervise your organisation’s own accounting and financial‑reporting functions.

In this arena, you will act as the compliance compass, ensuring continuous adherence to all relevant financial regulations such as FINMA, AMLA and GDPR. You will support licensing initiatives, prepare regulatory reports and serve as the primary liaison with supervisory authorities. By keeping a vigilant eye on evolving legislation, you will update internal policies and steer regulatory reviews, audits and remediation efforts to keep the business ahead of the curve.

You will partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief of Staff, providing essential support in financial planning and control. Your expertise will guide budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis,
while you act as the main point of contact for accountants, auditors and finance partners during monthly and annual closings. Maintaining robust internal controls and cost‑oversight mechanisms, you will contribute to accurate financial reporting and play a strategic role in capital‑allocation decisions.

A CPA certification (or an equivalent qualification) and several years of experience building and operating digital finance solutions – ideally within a FinTech environment – are required. You should possess a deep
understanding of regulatory frameworks such as FINMA, AMLA and GDPR, strong project‑ and stakeholder‑management skills, a hands‑on entrepreneurial mindset, and fluent communication in English.
French and / or German are a plus.
