Head of Data Sales & Customer Care (f/m/d) - full-time/part-time

EEX offers a wide range of data services across the products traded at EEX and for data reported by third parties to EEX. Further services and platforms complement the offer. Data customers include trading members of EEX but also other market participants, transmission system operators, regulatory authorities and academia.

Your tasks:
You are interested in commodity markets and data. You assume responsibility to care.
Your role includes the sale of data services and day-to-day operations from answering clients’ questions, providing access, monitoring daily routines, managing incidents up to driving countermeasures to avoid re-occurrence. You are proactive, capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks for yourself and your team and you are willing to go the extra mile.
You will manage and steer a team supporting you for the sale and 1st-level support for our data services on all exchange trading days from 8am to 6pm. You will work with people in our offices in Leipzig, Paris and Washington, D.C. and communicate with them primarily in English and German.
Your position will look into the alignment of client agreements, safeguarding a consistent representation of our data services, and the management of regulatory requirements that concern data dissemination routines. In this role you will also work closely with customers and industry partners to understand their feedback and to pass it on to our business development departments.

Your skills:

• Bachelor or master degree in finance, economics, marketing or solid equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in sales and 1st level support organizations, ideally within energy trading, related software or data industry in a leading position
• Strong knowledge of data business or commodity trading and a good understanding of corresponding regulations
• Ability to work independently with understanding the global picture while paying attention to the details that matter
• Personal resilience when working under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities and the drive to network
• Proficiency in English and German, any additional language is a plus
