Your tasks
Specific tasks will vary depending on the project but might include some of:
- Designing specific question / sampling protocol etc. (optionally including writing a short proposal to help structure the project)
- Data / sample collection (e.g. pollen pellets, insects, etc.)
- Identification of collected specimens (if applicable)
- Vegetation surveys
- Digitising landscapes in GIS (e.g. cover of agricultural area / oilseed rape / ...) to assess their influence on pollinator health
- Statistical analysis (i.e. choice and execution of sensible methods, likely mixed models or similar)

Your profile
- B.Sc. in an ecology-related field
- Driving license
- Experience in basic statistical analyses (R / Python)
- Field work affinity and experience would be ideal
- Knowledge of a relevant pollinator group (depends on specific topic)
- Knowledge of plant species
- Experience in basic GIS tools
- Experience in using identification keys (depends on specific topic)
- Interest in publishing results
