Your responsibilities
- scientific services in research in the field of RNA biology as part of the project "Decoding tRNA modification landscapes and networks” with the aim of molecular and functional characterization of tRNA modifications in eukaryotes
- development and application of molecular biological and genomic methods, including nanopore sequencing, for the detection of tRNA modifications
- acquisition of own professional expertise in the field of detection and biology of tRNA modifications
- possibility for your own scientific qualification (doctorate)
What you bring to the table
- completed scientific university degree in biology, biochemistry or comparable subject
- experience in molecular biology
- knowledge of genomics, bioinformatics and microbial genetics desirable
- good command of written and spoken English (min. C1)
- ability to work in a team
