- Champion the use of AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and prompt engineering frameworks to accelerate team efficiency.
- Lead evaluations of open-source tools and cloud-based platforms to continuously evolve our AI ecosystem.
Data Infrastructure & Governance
- Define requirements for data ingestion, curation, and access in partnership with IT and DevOps.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and promote responsible AI practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development, with a strong track record of delivering production AI systems.
- Hands-on experience with modern LLMs and AI platforms (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
- Proven leadership in building AI products and/or teams, ideally in healthcare or similarly complex domains.
- Strong coding skills in Python and relevant ML tooling (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain).
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, CI/CD).
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments and translating technical plans into cross-team action.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
