INTERNSHIP/THESIS IN CAE/FEM – FULL STACK / FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT

IHRE AUFGABEN

As part of your internship you will support our team in the development of modern software solutions and data-driven applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Frontend Development: You develop modern and user-friendly web interfaces using React or Angular and contribute to creating intuitive user experiences.
  
• Backend Development: You implement backend functionalities in Python using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask and support the development of scalable application architectures.
  
• API Integration: You design and develop REST API endpoints for data processing and automation while ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
  
• Data Management: You work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to store, manage, and optimize application data.
  
• System Integration: You ensure reliable, efficient, and secure data exchange across different application components and support the maintenance of existing data flows.
  
• Linux Environment Support: You use Linux-based development environments for software development, testing, and deployment and assist in troubleshooting environment-related issues.
  
• Software Quality: You contribute to debugging activities, code reviews, and continuous improvements to enhance software quality and application performance.

QUALIFIKATIONEN

START: after arrangement
DURATION: at least 12 weeks

• Enrolled Student: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Your final examination or degree completion must not yet have taken place, as valid student status is required for the entire duration of the internship, working student position, or thesis project.
• Programming Skills: You have practical experience in Python for backend development and are familiar with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
• API Knowledge: You understand REST APIs and have a solid understanding of how frontend and backend systems communicate.
• Database Experience: You have experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Linux Knowledge: You are comfortable working in a Linux development environment or are highly motivated to quickly develop these skills.
• Communication Skills: You possess good communication skills in English. German language skills are considered an advantage.
• Personal Competencies: You are a proactive, team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and applying new technologies.
• Working Style: You demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a structured approach to completing tasks in an international development environment.
