POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Commercial Operations Specialist at Nikon SLM Solutions, you will serve as the commercial backbone for the US Operations Organization. Your role will involve managing demand planning, ordering, intercompany management, external account management, and delivery for all aspects of operations, including supply chain logistics.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Ensure proactive communication with internal and external partners.
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to streamline operations.
- Develop tools such as plans and checklists to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage demand planning and incorporate it into the suite of existing and future IT tools.
- Manage procurement processes in collaboration with the global organization.
- Work on intercompany processes with Lübeck teams.
- Manage the supply chain with third-party manufacturing (3PM) and logistics (3PL) partners.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Experience in operations management.
- Strong commercial and operational mindset, excellent planning and execution abilities, effective communication skills, and process management expertise.
- Willingness to travel between various production sites.
