Head of HR Operations Switzerland - Geneva - National scope
We are supporting a prominent international organization in the appointment of a Head of HR Operations Switzerland , a senior leadership role operating at the heart of the people function.
Working closely with a member of the executive leadership team , this position is designed for a leader who can bring structure, visibility, and strategic coherence to a multi-layered HR environment.
The opportunity
This is not a traditional HR leadership role.
It is a transversal position for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys connecting the dots across functions, and is motivated by building clarity, efficiency, and impact at scale .
You will act as a central integrator across HR , ensuring that teams, processes, and priorities are aligned—while driving a more data-driven and technology-enabled HR function .
What you will be driving
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership , contributing to key people-related decisions
- Bringing consistency and direction across core HR streams (talent, operations, payroll, business partnering)
- Leading cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience
- Elevating HR through data, analytics, and digital tools , with a strong focus on Power BI and advanced reporting
- Embedding AI-driven approaches to optimize processes, generate insights, and support workforce planning
- Creating clear governance frameworks while maintaining agility in execution
- Handling complex and high-sensitivity HR topics with sound judgment and discretion
- Driving harmonization across regions while respecting local specificities
- Acting as a go-to escalation point for critical operational or compliance matters
What sets you apart
You combine operational depth with strategic perspective , and you are as comfortable navigating executive discussions as you are improving processes on the ground.
- Extensive HR experience in Switzerland (typically 10+ years), with strong exposure to operations and payroll environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, international, and matrixed organizations
- Strong affinity for HR data, reporting, and visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent)
- Proven interest or experience in AI and automation within HR ecosystems
- Solid understanding of Swiss labor law and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and structuring capabilities
- High level of credibility, discretion, and influence
- Fluent in French and English; German is a plus
