Senior Game Data Analyst - Strategy Games
Location: Malta or Hamburg (Hybrid) | Berlin (Remote option for exceptional candidates)
Salary: Up to €75k (Germany) / €56k (Malta) Type: Full-time
About the Role We are acting on behalf of a global strategy game powerhouse formed by the merger of two leading studios. They are seeking a Senior Game Data Analyst to shape the data-driven decision-making of various teams by connecting analytics skills with proactive communication. You will have the chance to directly shape the analytics stack, developing ETL and data integration pipelines between MySQL, dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau.

They are seeking a Senior Game Data Analyst to shape the data-driven decision-making of various teams by connecting analytics skills with proactive communication. You will have the chance to directly shape the analytics stack, developing ETL and data integration pipelines between MySQL, dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, and represent a range of data relating to games and process them for other departments.
- Shape and maintain ETL and data integration pipelines and database structures.
- Set up effective data visualizations, primarily using Tableau.
- Identify opportunities for improving online/mobile games and performance marketing.
- Evaluate multivariate tests, conduct problem analyses, and create reports on new features.
- Work as part of game development teams to optimize game delivery and performance.
- 5 years of professional experience in analytics in the video games field.
- Strong proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud.
- Ability to work with data platforms such as Snowflake and dbt.
- Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., R, Python) and good knowledge of SQL.
- University degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Gamer Mindset: If coming from an E-commerce background, you must demonstrate a deep affinity for games and understand player psychology.
- Visa: You must possess an EU Passport or an existing German Blue Card.
