Als Software Engineer entwickeln Sie Benutzeroberflächen und Softwaresysteme für Simulationsleitstände, Instructor Operating Stations und Auswertungsstationen für das Flugtraining. Sie verantworten die Softwarearchitektur und entwickeln skalierbare Anwendungen mit C++ und Qt/QML.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Mit Stakeholdern und Kunden kommunizieren, um Anforderungen zu erfassen und zu verstehen
• Die Softwaregrundlage für Simulationsleitstände, Instructor Operating Stations und Auswertungsstationen für das Flugtraining definieren und architektonisch gestalten
• Intuitive, benutzerfreundliche Oberflächen und UI/UX-Konzepte definieren und entwerfen
• Software mit C++ und Qt/QML entwerfen, entwickeln, testen und warten sowie sauberen, effizienten und wartbaren Code nach bewährten Softwareentwicklungspraktiken schreiben
• Softwareprobleme analysieren, Fehler untersuchen und beheben
• Technische Risiken und Probleme identifizieren und geeignete Maßnahmen zur Risikominderung umsetzen
• An Planungs-, Stand-up-, Review- und Retrospektiv-Meetings gemäß der eingesetzten Softwareentwicklungsmethodik teilnehmen
• An Code-Reviews teilnehmen und die Einhaltung der festgelegten Coding Standards sicherstellen
• Sicherstellen, dass Systemdesign und Softwarearchitektur skalierbar, wartbar und in andere Systeme integrierbar sind

Ihr Profil

• Studium der Informatik mindestens mit Master- oder Diplomabschluss oder ein vergleichbarer Studiengang im Software Engineering
• Mehr als fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung in IT/Informationssystemen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in C++ und Qt/QML zur Programmierung von Benutzeroberflächen sind zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung im Simulationsumfeld ist von Vorteil
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit für die effiziente Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Software Engineer, you develop user interfaces and software systems for simulation control stations, Instructor Operating Stations and flight training debriefing stations. You are responsible for the software architecture and develop scalable applications using C++ and Qt/QML.

Your tasks

• Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, Instructor Operating Stations and flight training debriefing stations
• Define and design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
• Design, develop, test and maintain software using C++ and Qt/QML, writing clean, efficient and maintainable code and following software development best practices
• Analyze and debug software issues and fix bugs
• Identify and address technical risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies as required
• Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to the software development methodology
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code meets the defined coding standards
• Ensure that the software system design and architecture are scalable, maintainable and capable of integration with other systems

Your profile

• Degree in computer science at least at Master’s or Diplom level, or a comparable degree programme in software engineering
• More than five years of professional experience in IT/information systems
• Deep knowledge of C++ and Qt/QML for programming user interfaces is mandatory
• A background in simulation is an advantage
• German and English at negotiation level
• Good communication skills for efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams
