Main Responsibilities

Analytics & Process Automation

• Drive the Supply Chain Analytics and Automation roadmap
• Represent and own the analytics process across global and site supply chain functions

Data Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines)
• Develop and manage curated data models to support analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases
• Integrate data from multiple source systems (ERP, planning, quality, supply chain systems) into a unified analytics layer
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring, validation, and optimization
• Implement data transformations using best-practice patterns (medallion architecture, semantic modeling)
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on data architecture, security, and access models
• Define and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and documentation
• Support self-service analytics by providing well-governed, reusable datasets
• Optimize refresh strategies, incremental loading, and performance for large-scale datasets
• Contribute to data governance initiatives, including lineage, cataloging, and compliance

Data & Infrastructure Alignment

• Collaborate with IT to ensure infrastructure strategy and support models align with analytics needs
• Define global data standards, metrics, and KPIs for consistency across processes

Reporting & Visualization

• Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps
• Maintain and improve reporting frameworks (IBP, Control Tower, Quality, Plasma, Supply Chain reporting)

Process Optimization

• Implement globally consistent processes based on best practices
• Automate key processes to reduce manual work and lead times

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze KPIs to monitor process health and performance
• Govern change requests and ensure alignment across end-to-end processes

Community & Support Model

• Manage Power BI and analytics communities (~200+ users)
• Provide first-level support, coordinate bug fixes, and enhancements via DevOps

Documentation & Standards

• Develop process maps, playbooks, and user guides
• Maintain a data catalog for transparency on data sources and refresh cycles

Qualification

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field, APICS Certification and/or MBA a plus

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or another highly regulated industry in Data analytics, Reporting and Robotic Process Automation
• Understanding of what good process for deploying business analytics looks like
• Experienced Data Engineering capabilities and building robust data ingestion pipeline
• Strong Data analytics skills and ability to design, build and deploy PowerBI dashboards, Power Automate flows and Power Apps
• Excellent Power Platform skills
• Ability to extract data from multiple systems using SQL or PowerQuery and design efficient dashboards and automations
• Strong skills and capabilities within Python and PySpark coding
• Track record of leading and coordinating data related project
• Certifications would be considered favorably
