About us
A growing industial international organisation with a strong European footprint is looking to strengthen its internal IT team with an experienced SAP MM / WM Inhouse Consultant. The company operates multiple sites, serves global markets, and places a strong emphasis on stable processes, modern systems, and long-term collaboration.
Tasks
Receive, analyse, and resolve SAP incidents and service requests independently or in coordination with third-level support
Support users in their daily work across relevant SAP modules (e.g. SD, MM, FI, CO, PP)
Perform error analysis, identify root causes, and ensure sustainable solutions
Create and maintain user documentation and work instructions to ensure transparent and standardised processes
Conduct training sessions for key users and end users
Coordinate with external service providers when required to ensure stable operations
Plan, create, maintain, and optimise SAP user roles and profiles in line with the existing authorization concept
Regularly review authorization structures, identify optimisation potential, and perform authorization reviews
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
Advise business departments on authorization needs and options
Support the introduction and further development of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls
Participate actively in SAP change requests and the rollout of new functionalities
Plan, manage, and implement smaller projects related to SAP support or authorization topics
Contribute to test management activities, including creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results
Profile
Degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
Initial to several years of experience in SAP support and/or SAP authorization management
Good understanding of SAP module processes, particularly SD, MM, and FI/CO
Confident handling of SAP authorization concepts (users, roles, profiles)
Structured, independent working style combined with strong communication and teamwork skills
Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
