I am currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Delegate Sales Executive to join a dynamic team. You will be responsible for driving delegate attendance to our leading conferences and events within the energy sector, which attract senior-level professionals from around the globe.
You’ll play a key role in generating revenue and ensuring high-quality participation by building strong relationships with decision-makers across oil & gas, renewables, utilities, energy tech, policy, and investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively sell delegate passes via phone, email, and LinkedIn to meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Identify and engage decision-makers and professionals across the energy industry.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools and other platforms.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of attending the event, tailored to individual job roles, companies, and sectors.
- Understand delegate personas and stay updated on key energy sector trends to align the sales pitch effectively.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Provide regular sales reports and feedback to the Sales Manager/Event Director.
- Attend the event (domestically or internationally, as required) to support on-site operations and deepen industry knowledge.
Key Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in delegate or sponsorship sales, preferably in B2B events or within the energy sector.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written English.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Interest in the energy industry (oil & gas, renewables, hydrogen, etc.) and emerging technologies.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales outreach tools.
- Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
