Über diesen Job
Welcome to NEURA Robotics, the innovator of the robotics world. Our goal is to equip collaborative robots with groundbreaking cognitive capabilities to enable safe and intuitive collaboration with humans. Under the leadership of founder David Reger, we have spent the first years of NEURA Robotics laying the foundations for humans and robots to work hand in hand.
"We serve humanity" is not just a motto, but our mission. Become part of our ambitious, international company and shape the future of robotics with us.
Welcome to NEURA Robotics - where innovation meets team spirit.
Your mission & challenges
As a System Integrator Smart Factory, you will be part of the team driving the digital transformation of our production environment. Your daily responsibilities include implementing, integrating, and administering various software components to enable intelligent, connected manufacturing — with direct integration into the NEURAVERSE.
You will also drive the integration of IoT devices and their parameters and process data, ensuring that all related tasks are executed reliably and efficiently.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Linking product, machine, process, and contextual data using knowledge graphs.
- Ensuring seamless data flows between MES, ERP, PLM, and cloud systems.
- Integrating production equipment, robotic systems, and IIoT devices to capture and process real-time data.
- Designing and developing interfaces between individual software components using middleware solutions.
- Working closely with production team leads, commissioning managers, and the central IT department.
- Serving as a point of contact for issues arising in production related to the digital software landscape.
What we can look forward to
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on manufacturing and/or automation, or completed vocational training as an IT specialist with practical experience in production IT systems, architectures, and interfaces.
- Practical experience in developing high-quality, stable, and reliable software.
- Strong understanding of the automation pyramid and the ability to classify tasks within it and support their implementation through to completion.
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development methodologies, from design to testing, and active application of these principles in daily work.
- Proficiency in Python, experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, and familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and capable of handling shell or PowerShell scripts.
- Experience using Docker and Docker Compose, including setting up simple containerized environments.
- Experience with OPC UA servers and middleware technologies (e.g., MQTT, Kafka) in software projects is an advantage.
- Ideally, prior experience in automating manufacturing processes.
- Experience in robotics and an understanding of the associated challenges are a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, a structured working style, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a high level of quality awareness.
What you can look forward to
- Become part of an agile company, actively shape topics and benefit from flat hierarchies in a highly motivated team
- Enjoy an attractive salary, flexible working hours and 30 days of vacation
- The freedom to contribute your own ideas and drive them forward
- Celebrate successes together with company events
- Take advantage of our corporate benefits program
- And even more fun with great colleagues
