About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the Matsuhisa. Munich. The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for the smooth operation of the Matsuhisa, Munich
• Maintains a complete working knowledge of the menu, wine list and any special promotions
• Representation of the Seasonal Restaurant Manager
• Contact person for guest requests or complaints
• Control of the mise en place for the daily business
• Ensuring compliance with all Mandarin Oriental and HACCP standards

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, we expect from you:

• Experience in a similar work environment, preferred as Assistant Manager or Supervisor
• Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Structured and organized way of working
• Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
• Very good communication skills in German and English
