On behalf of a customer, we wish to appoint a clinical specialist for clinical training/support and development activities of its product(s), mainly in the German speaking European markets. Many activities will need a close cooperation with our local distributors. The Clinical Specialist position is field based and the successful candidate should be located preferably in the south of Germany.The position requires extensive travel within a minimum of 50% of time spent in the territory. In addition, the Clinical Specialist will work closely with the sales&marketing team, and is required to attend frequently sales and marketing meetings in Amsterdam and international congresses as required.

Clinical Manager Responsibilities

• Plan and lead clinical training and support activities to ensure good clinical outcomes with our product(s)
• Support the clinical aspect of product development activities; define unmet clinical needs that we could address with existing/new products
• Support clinical evidence (data) generation activities, mainly studies
• Be the specialist for the sales teams of our distributors for KOL relationships, clinical training, application training in the field
• Provide input to and work within Quality Management System

Qualifications and experience

• Recognised clinical, biomedical engineering or scientific qualification (e.g. University Degree or Registered Nursing qualification)
• Ability to successfully deliver complex training Services
• Ability to deliver clinical troubleshooting and problem solving Services
• Experiences in healthcare / medical device industries
• Solid clinical knowledge and surgical skills (preferable in vascular, cardiac, open or laparoscopic surgery)
• Proven ability to develop successful relationships with the target demographic and Peers
• You must be a team Player
• Ideally based in the south of Germany
• Must be fluent in the spoken and written German and English language
• Ability to undertake extensive travel is essential
• Must be self-sufficient; able to work independently in the field, self-organized,
