• Design, implement and verify Cellular Layer 1 control software/firmware for an 5G/6G mobile wireless communications system.
• Develop key scheduling and control algorithms, while meeting strict real time deadlines, and optimizing code for cycle, latency, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams and colleagues to optimize solutions.
• Collaborate with other firmware and software designers to define interfaces with RF, physical layer, MAC/RRC, and other required subsystems.

• Good understanding of RF antenna characteristics (antenna efficiency, isolation, gain) and how they feed into transmit and receive antenna selection decisions.
• Working knowledge of uplink power control, including power headroom, maximum power limits and regulatory power backoff, and how these constraints affect link performance.
• Strong background in algorithm design and development with the ability to turn system-level requirements into efficient and deterministic solutions suitable for real-time embedded environments.

• Knowledge of 3GPP 5G/4G Layer 1 Control such as (RACH, Scheduling request, SRS, CSI, DRX)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

At Apple, we're not all the same. And that's our greatest strength. We draw on the differences in who we are, what we've experienced, and how we think. Because to create products that serve everyone, we believe in including everyone. Therefore, we are committed to treating all applicants fairly and equally. We will work with applicants to make any reasonable accommodations.

At Apple, we believe accessibility is a fundamental human right. You’ll find that idea reflected in everything here — in our culture, our benefits and our digital tools. By welcoming as many perspectives as possible, we help you build a career where you feel like you belong.
